How to report an issue once and track the fix, and what Habanto does not do with the money.
The hardest part of a home repair is usually not the repair, it is the chasing. A leak gets mentioned in a chat, then a call, then forgotten, then mentioned again.
The plan is to turn one report into a tracked job. You describe the issue, add a photo, and contractors quote on the work, so you are choosing from real options rather than waiting on a single number. The maintenance side of Habanto is not open yet.
Habanto does not handle payment for maintenance work and holds no money for anyone. You pay the contractor directly, on whatever terms the two of you agree.
You can see the status the whole way through, from reported to scheduled to complete, so nothing disappears into a thread you have to scroll back through.
A small thing that helps a lot. Add a clear photo and a one line description of when the problem happens. The better the report, the faster and more accurate the quote.
