Questions, answered.
The short version of how Habanto works. If your question is not here, write to us at info@habanto.com.
About Habanto
What is Habanto?
Habanto is the trust layer for UAE property. It joins up renting, buying, owning, and maintaining a home in one platform, with verified people and secured payments on every side.
When does Habanto launch?
We are opening access in waves across the emirates. Write to us at info@habanto.com and we will invite you personally when it is your turn.
Which emirates does Habanto cover?
All seven, from day one. Listings, buildings, and professionals across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, and Umm Al Quwain.
Is Habanto an agency?
No. Habanto is a platform. Licensed agents, agencies, and professionals do what they do best, and Habanto provides the verified, secured rails they and their clients transact on.
Trust and verification
How are people verified?
Individuals verify with Emirates ID. Owners are checked against title deeds and Ejari, and businesses against their trade licence. Verification comes before anyone can transact.
What does a secured payment mean?
Your money is held safe and moves only when both sides confirm the agreed terms. Deposits, rent, and job payments all follow the same rule: pay on confirmation, not on promise.
What happens to my deposit?
It goes into a secured hold, not into someone's pocket. It is released on the terms both sides agreed, and every step is on the record.
How does Habanto handle my data?
In line with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law. We collect what we need to run the service, we do not sell your data, and you can ask for access, correction, or deletion at any time.
Using Habanto
What does it cost?
Browsing, searching and enquiring are free, and always will be. If you list property, pricing is published in full inside your billing settings: every listing gets three free months, and nothing is charged before 1 January 2027.
Do I need an account to browse?
No. Listings, buildings, and directories are open. You need an account only when you act: saving a home, making an offer, booking a viewing, or listing a property.
Can I use Habanto in Arabic?
Yes. Habanto works fully in English and Arabic, on the web and in the app.
I am an agent, developer, or contractor. How do I join?
Write to us at info@habanto.com with your role and licence details. Professionals are among the first we bring in.
